BLUE-EYED PIGS
I was walking under a tree of figs when I came across two blue-eyed pigs They greeted me with courtesy and continued on their rail, off the beaten trail
Yet my soul could not purge the indiscriminating urge to further investigate rather than live my own fate
Blue-eyed pigs lure their prey from a normal day to day Through the cunning of their kind they'll absorb some poor soul's mind And through the cunning of their decision they'll enact a certain incision Thy shall retain a most active brain to be used and not abused And will return quite eager to learn the unknown truth that troubles our youth
As my train of thought diverges the path I walk progresses to the palace up ahead with foreboding lights I dread
The dungeon doors swing open the soul within me squirms The watchman tears my ticket stub all my fears are confirmed
Blue-eyed pigs lure their prey from a normal day to day Through the cunning of their kind they'll absorb some poor soul's mind And through the freedom of their decision they'll enact a certain incision Thy shall retain a most active brain to be used and not abused And will return quite eager to learn with unfailing persistence the meaning of our existence
Blue-eyed pigs have cured me within their magical realm Reality exits (stage right) insanity is at the helm
I leave through closed gates my mind and body separate Once a free spirit at heart the new blue-eyed pig departs
