After landing a real job with a decent salary, I opted for performance. This certainly fit the bill. A veritable batmobile with 222 horsepower. It also put me in a new league of luxury, with leather trim, CD player, and power everything. After 2 years of outlandish maintenance costs, I came to fear a potential repair bill down the line. For the cost of a tune-up, I could replace the engine in an old mustang.  Hmmm.......
