1973 Mercury Capri

Finally, a stick shift. Quite powerful for its size, it was also pretty fuel efficient, getting up to 26mpg. The transmission was a pain and I replaced it twice. This car actually survived a dunk in a swamp, though it never smelled quite the same (even after completely replacing the interior).  I traded it for a PC in college, and saw it driving around town a year later.
