1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport

Nicknamed "the Beast", this puppy made an aircraft-like whine when you floored it, thanks to a vacuum leak in the carburetor. Holds my speed record of 126mph. Friends could hear its low rumble from a block away, or feel the house shake slighly as I drove up. I was pulled over incessantly by police, but never got more than a fix-it ticket. It leaked transmission fluid chronically, had some play in the steering, got about 10mpg and eventually sold for around $1200.
