Since I was living in a place with a garage and carpooling or riding my bike to work most days, it seemed reasonable to go all out for my dream car. I did, and this was the result. But I moved to Pacifica where the commute was on my own and out of bike riding range, and there was no garage to protect the car from the salt air of the sea. Rust began to take hold within 6 months, and it became apparent that I would have to depart with my dream.
